1. The service
Commit2Fit lets you set a personal weight-loss goal and place a refundable deposit tied to reaching that goal within a chosen timeframe.
2. Deposits
When you create a challenge you authorise a one-time charge for your chosen deposit amount, processed by Stripe. Your deposit is committed once the challenge begins.
3. Success and refunds
If you reach your goal and your result is approved by our moderation team, we refund your deposit minus a 6% platform fee. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
4. Unsuccessful challenges
If you do not reach your goal, do not submit a result, or your result is not approved, your full deposit is donated to our charity mission. No refund is issued in these cases.
5. Verification
You agree to provide accurate weight information and genuine photographs. We reserve the right to decline results we cannot verify or that appear fraudulent.
6. Eligibility & health
Commit2Fit is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before beginning any weight-loss program. You participate at your own risk.
7. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
